You report bad reviews of our products. The desk picked the ones that fit the kinds of reviews Amazon has removed for us before, and checked each one is still on Amazon. You only follow the steps on each card. Most reports are not removed, and that is normal: 18 were removed from Apr 2025 to Aug 2026.
1Press Start
The big line at the top says how many to do today. Press the green Start button.
If it says "Today: nothing to report", you are finished. Come back tomorrow.
The desk, with one review to do.
2Read the card
You see the product, the review, and the words in yellow that we report.
The box "Why report it" says what is wrong in one sentence. Below it are three boxes of steps: 1 reports it on Amazon, 2 reports it in Brand Registry, 3 sends an email to Amazon.
One review card.
3Open the review and click Report
Press the blue Open review button. The review opens on Amazon in a new tab.
Under the review there is a Helpful button. Right next to it is the small grey word Report. Click Report one time.
This is a drawing, not a picture of Amazon. The red box shows where Report is.
Amazon then shows: "Thanks, we'll investigate in the next few days." That means it worked.
Amazon asks you to sign in? Use your own Amazon shopping account.
Amazon says "Page Not Found"? The review is already gone. Go back to the desk and press Already gone.
4Send the report in Brand Registry
Every card has a second box, Brand Registry: Report a Violation > Other. It sends the same review to Amazon's Brand Registry team. Do it right after step 3.
The Brand Registry box.
Press Open Report a Violation. Click the Report Other button in the box called Other.
Store: pick the one the card says (amazon.com or amazon.ca). The form starts on amazon.ca.
Under Order ID (required), click the small link Enter ASIN/ISBN-10 -OR- Product URL. Press Copy ASIN on the card, paste it, press Add. Then set Scope to ASIN/ISBN-10.
Press Copy text on the card and paste it under Please describe your issue. The card shows how many of the 492 characters it uses (line breaks count as 2). Do not change it.
Press Submit. Amazon says "Thank you for submitting your report." Then go back to the desk tab.
5Send the email to Amazon
The same report also goes to Amazon's Community team by email, from your own Gmail. Every card has a third box, Email Amazon's review team. Do it right after the Brand Registry box.
Press the blue Open Gmail button. A new email opens in a new tab with everything already filled in.
Check that it is addressed to community-help@amazon.com. Do not change the subject or the text.
Press Send.
Go back to the desk tab.
Gmail asks which account to use? Pick your own. If you do not use Gmail, press the small link under the blue button instead. It opens the same email in your email app.
The box also shows the email in words, with a Copy email button, in case you ever need to paste it by hand.
6Come back and press Done
Go back to the desk tab and press the green Done button once all three boxes are finished. The next review loads by itself.
Done stays grey until you press Open review. That is normal. Skip and Already gone never need a number.
Pressed Done by mistake? Press Undo in the black box at the bottom.
After the last one of the day.
7A second report on the same review
If Amazon keeps a review, the desk can send it back to you once more, about three weeks after your first report. That card has a blue box at the top that says Second report and the day you reported it the first time.
Do not look for the Open review button. The Report link under the review only works once, so the card leaves it out.
Do the Brand Registry box and the email box, the same way as before. Use the text on the card, not the one you sent the first time.
Done stays grey until you press Open Report a Violation.
A review comes back for a second report one time only. It never comes back a third time.
You can still press Skip or Already gone.
8The other buttons
Skip: you cannot do this one now. It comes back tomorrow.
Already gone: Amazon says "Page Not Found". Nothing more to do. On a second report card the desk looks at Amazon itself the next morning and moves the review to Removed if it is really gone.
Reported tab: everything you reported. Amazon decides in about a week. The desk checks Amazon by itself at day 10, 30, 60 and 90. You do nothing. Each row says Waiting on Amazon, Removed or Still up, and a row we looked at again says what we found.
Not reportable tab: the few that fit nothing we have seen removed (a tip, an opinion about price), and any review that describes a health problem. Max is told about those. Nothing to do there.
A red line at the bottom of the desk? It means the automatic Amazon check needs Max, and he is told through his morning brief. Nothing for you to do.
